A Prophet With No Honor (Mark 6:1-6)

In Mark 6:1-6 we’ll see how when Jesus, the Savior, prophet and teacher returned to His village, everyone there refused to see Him as anyone but a normal boy from a simple family. Their preconceived ideas about Jesus kept them from receiving his love and power.

In Jesus’ life we see him heal every kind of sickness. He caused the blind to see, the lame to walk and even the dead to rise. He touched the untouchables and loved the unlovables.

He taught with authority and power. He even forgave sins.

He taught against religion and offered all men relationship with God exclusively through Him. His power to heal and forgive was granted to all those who had faith in Him.
